A relaxing Caribbean bar and café, inspired by Marigot Bay of St Lucia.

We aim to take you to the Bay through the sounds of the Caribbean, the tastes of the islands rums and beer, with cocoa and coffee sourced from the plantations.

Open Friday and Saturday within King’s Court, Altrincham during winter.

Opened July 20th 2018, Marigot Bay Bar & Café is the creation from Dave Marsland and his vision of bringing a traditional Caribbean experience to Altrincham.

We intend to take you through the many tropical islands via chilled island beers, tropical cocktails and some of the finest Caribbean coffee available.

With the walls adorned with memorabilia picked up from Dave’s travels to the Caribbean, including Marigot Bay itself, we re-create the tranquil, relaxing experience of the bay, meaning a low ambience feel and a focus on traditional drink serves with attentive table service.

We’re small, having a capacity of 24 seating only, with a first-come-first-serve policy during its hours of operation. We’ve also ruled out the usual live music element seen in most venues, instead opting for low-level background music from traditional Caribbean radio stations, producing a calmer experience for all our customers.

We hope you can join us! We recommend to book at busy time, just visit our contact page and email a request (maximum tables of 8).

If you wish for a sneak preview of our venue, please take a look at the following features;

Lovin Manchester / I Love Manchester / VIVA Magazine / Manchester’s Finest / Spirits Hunters / Altrincham Today (here and here) / The Drink Shop / Rum CompassGin Fuelled Blue Stocking

We’ve also been featured within Thomas Cook, Altrincham Today, Cheshire Life and Living Edge magazines!
